The Friends of Nancy Island are holding their annual general meeting and barbecue on Thurs., June 18.

The barbecue starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Nordic Center, located off Blueberry Trail in Wasaga Beach.

The meeting, including highlights of Friends' projects, summer events, the president's comments and election of officers, will take place from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m. there will be a short presentation about the 75th anniversary of The Flight of the Caribou at Wasaga Beach.

Members and non-members are welcome.
