The Wasaga Beach Kinette Club is holding its annual golf tournament Fri., July 10 to raise money for Toys For Kids.

The ninth annual Don Campbell best ball golf tournament will be held at Marlwood Golf and Country Club.

All of the proceeds are used to purchase Christmas gifts for local children in need. The Kinettes provided toys for more than 300 kids last year, 130 of which were between the ages of 11 and 16.

"Toys for Kids is done under the name of the Kinettes of Wasaga Beach but it is done through the backing of the volunteers, friends and businesses of the community that makes it a success," said organizer Doris Comly. "Without their help, it just would not happen."

Teams of four compete using best ball rules and there is a trivia question at each hole, with the best team winning prizes. A souvenir is given to every golfer. Various contests will be held including putting, longest drive, closest to the pin for men and women and there will be raffles as well.

Enter as an individual or a foursome. An entry fee of $100 includes 18 holes, golf cart and dinner. A shotgun start begins at 1:30 p.m.

Hole sponsorship is available for $100.
