The Wasaga Beach Public Library is offering a number of programs this summer.
Spies Like Us takes place Wednesdays, July 15, 22, 29, Aug. 5, 12, 19 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for ages eight to 12. Learn to solve mysteries through activities, crafts and interactive stories. Special quests will share top-secret information about detective work. Registration required. Cost is $2 per day.
Canadian Centennial of Flight - Celebrate the 100th anniversary of flight in Canada with a special presentation by CFB Borden on July 24 and Aug. 7 at 11 a.m.
The library has Puppet Shows on July 31 at 3 p.m. and Aug. 28 at 3 p.m. Family Movies Fridays are at 1 p.m. with Inspector Gadget showing on July 17, Bolt showing on Aug. 14 and The Tale of Despereaux showing on Aug. 21.
Ectothermic Adventure takes place Aug. 12 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Join Park Naturalists on this great adventure and discover why turtles have shells, snakes have no legs and
more mysteries.
There is a Christmas in the Library book sale on July 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. promising lots of children's books.
