WASAGA BEACH – Wasaga Beach celebrates Christmas the weekend of Nov. 27-29 with several community events.
The festivities begin Fri., Nov. 27 with a tree lighting ceremony and continue Sat., Nov. 28 with the Santa Claus parade and other events. Wrap up the festive weekend by having breakfast with Santa on Sun., Nov. 29, followed by free play for the kids during Funderland.

Sat., Nov. 28
Christmas Around the World Tea and Bake Sale, Craft Table and Silent Auction from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Wasaga Beach United Church, 380 Zoo Park Rd. Have lunch for $5 before the Santa Claus Parade. Come Early - Always a great day.
Sat., Nov. 28
Santa Claus Parade. 2 p.m. Proceeds down 22nd St. and then turns right on Mosley St. along to the RecPlex where Santa's Reception will take place immediately following the parade with treats, visits with Santa and awards for best floats and bicycle decorating contest. Sat., Nov. 28
Wasaga Beach Santa Claus Parade Bicycle Decorating Contest. Enter our Bicycle Decorating Contest. Sponsored by Your Mortgage Store - Donna Mullen and Shari McKilligan. Line up and judging at 1:15 p.m. First prize: $100, second prize: $50, third prize: $25, new category: oldest decorated bike: $25. Sun., Nov. 29
Come celebrate your Christmas spirit from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the RecPlex. Start your day off with a pancake breakfast with special guest Santa followed by an afternoon of free activities all taking place inside the RecPlex.
