The next Breakfast at the Beach event, hosted by the Networking Committee for the Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce, will feature guest speaker Francine Fortier, executive director for The Pampered Chef Canada.

Fortier, a resident of Barrie, joined Pampered Chef as a part-time consultant in 1997 while still working as a manager of government relations for a large provincial trade association. By 1999 she decided that there was more opportunity in her Pampered Chef business than her full-time job and made the decision to make Pampered Chef her career.

With more than 200 sales associates, she is the number one recruiter for Pampered Chef in North America.

Fortier has received every incentive trip since 1999 and has achieved multiple performance awards every year since 2000.

"The networking committee is pleased to have this dynamic and charismatic woman speak at our next breakfast," said organizers. "Her enthusiasm and passion for building successful teams and developing leaders is truly inspiring."

The event takes place Thurs., Feb. 11 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Georgian Family Circle Restaurant.
